²⁴ And ^(A)Jehu ^[a]drew his bow with his full strength and struck ^[b]Joram between his arms; and the arrow went ^[c]through his heart and he crouched down in his chariot. ²⁵ Then Jehu said to Bidkar his officer, “Lift him up and ^(B)cast him into the ^[d]property of the field of Naboth the Jezreelite, for I remember when ^[e]you and I were riding together after Ahab his father, that ^(C)Yahweh lifted up this ^(D)oracle against him: ²⁶ ‘Surely ^(E)I have seen yesterday the blood of Naboth and the blood of his sons,’ says Yahweh, ‘and ^(F)I will repay you in this ^[f]property,’ says Yahweh. So now, lift him up and cast him into the ^[g]property, according to the word of Yahweh.”
