10 The priest gave to the commanders of hundreds King David’s spears and shields(A) that were in the Lord’s temple. 11 Then the guards stood with their weapons in hand surrounding the king—from the right side of the temple to the left side, by the altar and by the temple.
12 Jehoiada brought out the king’s son, put the crown(B) on him, gave him the testimony,[a](C) and made him king. They anointed(D) him and clapped their hands and cried, “Long live the king!” (E)

10 Then he gave the commanders the spears and shields(A) that had belonged to King David and that were in the temple of the Lord. 11 The guards, each with weapon in hand, stationed themselves around the king—near the altar and the temple, from the south side to the north side of the temple.
12 Jehoiada brought out the king’s son and put the crown on him; he presented him with a copy of the covenant(B) and proclaimed him king. They anointed(C) him, and the people clapped their hands(D) and shouted, “Long live the king!”(E)

10 And the priest gave the captains of hundreds the spears and shields which had belonged to King David, (A)that were in the temple of the Lord. 11 Then the escorts stood, every man with his weapons in his hand, all around the king, from the right [a]side of the temple to the left side of the temple, by the altar and the house. 12 And he brought out the king’s son, put the crown on him, and gave him the (B)Testimony;[b] they made him king and anointed him, and they clapped their hands and said, (C)“Long live the king!”
