³⁶ Therefore they came back and told him. And he said, “This is the word of the Lord, which He spoke by His servant Elijah the Tishbite, saying, ^(A)‘On the plot of ground at Jezreel dogs shall eat the flesh of Jezebel;

²³ And ^(A)concerning Jezebel the Lord also spoke, saying, ‘The dogs shall eat Jezebel by the ^[a]wall of Jezreel.’

³⁶ So Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.

²⁵ He ^(A)restored the ^[a]territory of Israel ^(B)from the entrance of Hamath to ^(C)the^[b] Sea of the Arabah, according to the word of the Lord God of Israel, which He had spoken through His servant ^(D)Jonah the son of Amittai, the prophet who was from ^(E)Gath Hepher.

²⁵ and He sent word by the hand of Nathan the prophet: So ^[a]he called his name ^[b]Jedidiah, because of the Lord.
