⁸ And when these lepers came to the edge of the camp, they went into a tent and ate and drank, and they carried off silver and gold and clothing and went and hid them. Then they came back and entered another tent and carried off things from it and went and hid them.

The Parable of the Hidden Treasure

⁴⁴ “The kingdom of heaven ^(A)is like treasure hidden in a field, which a man found and covered up. Then in his joy ^(B)he goes and sells all that he has and ^(C)buys that field.

²¹ when I saw among the spoil a beautiful cloak from Shinar, and 200 shekels of silver, and a bar of gold weighing 50 shekels,^[a] then I coveted them and took them. And see, they are hidden in the earth inside my tent, with the silver underneath.”

¹⁸ But he who had received the one talent went and ^(A)dug in the ground and hid his master's money.

⁸ But there were ten men among them who said to Ishmael, “Do not put us to death, for we have ^(A)stores of wheat, barley, oil, and honey hidden in the fields.” So he refrained and did not put them to death with their companions.

²⁴ And when he came to the hill, he took them from their hand and put them in the house, and he sent the men away, and they departed.
