⁷ He said, “Pick it up.” So he reached out his hand and took it.

³⁶ Elisha^[a] summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite woman.” So he called her. When she came to him, he said, “Take your son.”

⁷ She came and told the man of God, and he said, “Go sell the oil and pay your debts, and you and your children can live on the rest.”^(A)

⁴¹ He gave her his hand and helped her up. Then calling the saints and widows, he showed her to be alive.^(A)

¹⁵ The dead man sat up and began to speak, and Jesus^[a] gave him to his mother.

⁴ Then the Lord said to Moses, “Reach out your hand and seize it by the tail”—so he reached out his hand and grasped it, and it became a staff in his hand—
