⁷ “Lift it out,” he said. Then the man reached out his hand and took it.

³⁶ Elisha summoned Gehazi and said, “Call the Shunammite.” And he did. When she came, he said, “Take your son.”^(A)

⁷ She went and told the man of God,^(A) and he said, “Go, sell the oil and pay your debts. You and your sons can live on what is left.”

⁴¹ He took her by the hand and helped her to her feet. Then he called for the believers, especially the widows, and presented her to them alive.

¹⁵ The dead man sat up and began to talk, and Jesus gave him back to his mother.

⁴ Then the Lord said to him, “Reach out your hand and take it by the tail.” So Moses reached out and took hold of the snake and it turned back into a staff in his hand.
