⁶ So the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” And he showed him the place. So ^(A)he cut off a stick, and threw it in there; and he made the iron float.

²¹ Then he went out to the source of the water, and ^(A)cast in the salt there, and said, “Thus says the Lord: ‘I have ^[a]healed this water; from it there shall be no more death or barrenness.’ ”

²³ So He took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the town. And when ^(A)He had spit on his eyes and put His hands on him, He asked him if he saw anything.

²⁴ And he looked up and said, “I see men like trees, walking.”

²⁵ Then He put His hands on his eyes again and made him look up. And he was restored and saw everyone clearly.

⁴¹ So he said, “Then bring some flour.” And ^(A)he put it into the pot, and said, “Serve it to the people, that they may eat.” And there was nothing harmful in the pot.

²⁵ So he cried out to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a tree. ^(A)When he cast it into the waters, the waters were made sweet.

There He ^(B)made a statute and an ^[a]ordinance for them, and there ^(C)He tested them,

⁶ When He had said these things, ^(A)He spat on the ground and made clay with the saliva; and He anointed the eyes of the blind man with the clay. ⁷ And He said to him, “Go, wash ^(B)in the pool of Siloam” (which is translated, Sent). So ^(C)he went and washed, and came back seeing.

³³ And He took him aside from the multitude, and put His fingers in his ears, and ^(A)He spat and touched his tongue. ³⁴ Then, ^(B)looking up to heaven, ^(C)He sighed, and said to him, “Ephphatha,” that is, “Be opened.”
