²⁷ Therefore the leprosy of Naaman shall cling to you and to your descendants forever.” So he went out from his presence ^(A)a leper, like snow.

⁶ Again, the Lord said to him, “Put your hand inside your cloak.”^[a] And he put his hand inside his cloak, and when he took it out, behold, his hand was ^(A)leprous^[b] like snow.

^5 (A)And the Lord touched the king, so that he was a leper^[a] to the day of his death, ^(B)and he lived in a separate house.^[b] And Jotham the king's son was over the household, governing the people of the land.

¹⁰ When the cloud removed from over the tent, behold, ^(A)Miriam was ^(B)leprous,^[a] like snow. And Aaron turned toward Miriam, and behold, she was leprous.

⁸ But you have turned aside from the way. ^(A)You have caused many to stumble by your instruction. You have corrupted ^(B)the covenant of Levi, says the Lord of hosts, ⁹ and so ^(C)I make you despised and abased before all the people, inasmuch as you do not keep my ways but ^(D)show partiality in your instruction.”

³ Behold, ^(A)I will rebuke your offspring,^[a] and ^(B)spread dung on your faces, the ^(C)dung of your offerings, and you shall be taken away with it.^{[b] 4} So shall you know that I have sent ^(D)this command to you, that ^(E)my covenant with Levi may stand, says the Lord of hosts.

5 ^(A)Naaman, ^(B)commander of the army of the king of Syria, was a great man with his master and in high favor, because by him the Lord had given victory to Syria. He was a mighty man of valor, but he was a leper.^[a]
