⁴¹ He said, “Then bring flour.” ^(A)And he threw it into the pot and said, “Pour some out for the men, that they may eat.” And there was no harm in the pot.

²¹ Then he went to the spring of water and ^(A)threw salt in it and said, “Thus says the Lord, I have healed this water; from now on neither death nor miscarriage shall come from it.”

²⁵ And he ^(A)cried to the Lord, and the Lord showed him a log,^[a] and he ^(B)threw it into the water, and the water became sweet.

There the Lord^[b] made for them a statute and a rule, and there he ^(C)tested them,

²⁵ For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

⁵ He, however, ^(A)shook off the creature into the fire and suffered no harm.

⁶ Having said these things, ^(A)he spit on the ground and made mud with the saliva. ^(B)Then he anointed the man's eyes with the mud

⁶ Then the man of God said, “Where did it fall?” When he showed him the place, ^(A)he cut off a stick and threw it in there and made the iron float.

¹⁰ And Elisha sent a messenger to him, saying, ^(A)“Go and wash in the Jordan seven times, and your flesh shall be restored, and you shall be clean.”
