²⁰ Now it happened in the morning, when ^(A)the grain offering was offered, that suddenly water came by way of Edom, and the land was filled with water.

³⁹ One lamb you shall offer ^(A)in the morning, and the other lamb you shall offer ^[a]at twilight. ⁴⁰ With the one lamb shall be one-tenth of an ephah of flour mixed with one-fourth of a hin of pressed oil, and one-fourth of a hin of wine as a drink offering.

²¹ yes, while I was speaking in prayer, the man ^(A)Gabriel, whom I had seen in the vision at the beginning, ^[a]being caused to fly swiftly, reached me about the time of the evening offering.

³⁶ And it came to pass, at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near and said, “Lord ^(A)God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, ^(B)let it be known this day that You are God in Israel and I am Your servant, and that ^(C)I have done all these things at Your word.
