⁷ But ^(A)no accounting shall be asked from them for the money that is delivered into their hand, for they deal honestly.”

¹⁵ And ^(A)they did not ask for an accounting from the men into whose hand they delivered the money to pay out to the workmen, for they dealt honestly.

² Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful.

²⁰ We take this course so that no one should blame us about this generous gift that is being administered by us, ²¹ for ^(A)we aim at what is honorable ^(B)not only in the Lord's sight but also in the sight of man.

^10 (A)“One who is ^(B)faithful in a very little is also faithful in much, and one who is dishonest in a very little is also dishonest in much. ¹¹ If then you have not been faithful in the unrighteous wealth, who will entrust to you the true riches? ¹² And if you have not been faithful in ^(C)that which is another's, who will give you that which is your own?

² I gave ^(A)my brother Hanani and Hananiah the governor of ^(B)the castle charge over Jerusalem, for he was ^(C)a more faithful and God-fearing man than many.

¹⁴ And when they had finished, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, and with it ^(A)were made utensils for the house of the Lord, both for the service and for the burnt offerings, and dishes for incense and vessels of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the Lord regularly all the days of Jehoiada.
