⁹ But they did not listen, and Manasseh led them astray to do more evil than the nations had done whom the Lord destroyed before the people of Israel.

²⁰ But I have this against you, that you tolerate that woman ^(A)Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants ^(B)to practice sexual immorality and ^(C)to eat food sacrificed to idols.

^17 (A)So whoever knows the right thing to do and fails to do it, for him it is sin.

²² If I had not come and spoken to them, ^(A)they would not have been guilty of sin,^[a] but now they have no excuse for their sin.

^34 (A)O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that ^(B)kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! ^(C)How often would I have ^(D)gathered ^(E)your children together ^(F)as a hen gathers her brood ^(G)under her wings, and ^(H)you were not willing!

^10 (A)and have not obeyed the voice of the Lord our God by walking in his laws, which he set before us by ^(B)his servants the prophets. ^11 (C)All Israel has transgressed your law and turned aside, ^(D)refusing to obey your voice. ^(E)And the curse and oath ^(F)that are written in the Law of ^(G)Moses the servant of God have been poured out upon us, because ^(H)we have sinned against him.

^6 (A)We have not listened to ^(B)your servants the prophets, who spoke in your name to ^(C)our kings, our princes, and our fathers, and to all the people of the land.
