^16 (A)Moreover, Manasseh shed very much innocent blood, till he had filled Jerusalem from one end to another, besides the sin ^(B)that he made Judah to sin so that they did what was evil in the sight of the Lord.

^11 (A)“Because Manasseh king of Judah has committed these abominations and has done things ^(B)more evil than all that the Amorites did, who were before him, ^(C)and has made Judah also to sin ^(D)with his idols,

^37 (A)They were stoned, they were sawn in two,^{[a] (B)}they were killed with the sword. ^(C)They went about in skins of sheep and goats, destitute, afflicted, mistreated—

^34 (A)O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that ^(B)kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to it! ^(C)How often would I have ^(D)gathered ^(E)your children together ^(F)as a hen gathers her brood ^(G)under her wings, and ^(H)you were not willing!

⁶ But the chief priests, taking the pieces of silver, said, “It is not lawful to put them into ^(A)the treasury, since it is blood money.”

³⁰ saying, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers, we would not have taken part with them in shedding the blood of the prophets.’ ³¹ Thus you witness against yourselves that you are ^(A)sons of those who murdered the prophets.

^4 (A)Because the people have forsaken me and have profaned this place by making offerings in it to other gods whom neither they nor their fathers nor the kings of Judah have known; ^(B)and because they have filled this place with the blood of innocents,

^4 (A)And I will make them a horror to all the kingdoms of the earth because of what ^(B)Manasseh the son of Hezekiah, king of Judah, did in Jerusalem.

⁶ if you ^(A)do not oppress the sojourner, the fatherless, or the widow, ^(B)or shed innocent blood in this place, ^(C)and if you do not go after other gods to your own harm,
