¹⁵ And he said, “What have they seen in your house?”

So Hezekiah answered, ^(A)“They have seen all that is in my house; there is nothing among my treasures that I have not shown them.”

⁸ If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. ⁹ If we ^(A)confess our sins, He is ^(B)faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to ^(C)cleanse us from all unrighteousness. ¹⁰ If we say that we have not sinned, we ^(D)make Him a liar, and His word is not in us.

¹³ And ^(A)Hezekiah was attentive to them, and showed them all the house of his treasures—the silver and gold, the spices and precious ointment, and ^[a]all ^[b]his armory—all that was found among his treasures. There was nothing in his house or in all his dominion that Hezekiah did not show them.

¹⁹ Now Joshua said to Achan, “My son, I beg you, ^(A)give glory to the Lord God of Israel, ^(B)and make confession to Him, and ^(C)tell me now what you have done; do not hide it from me.”
