¹⁰ And he said, “You have asked a hard thing; yet, if you see me as I am being taken from you, it shall be so for you, but if you do not see me, it shall not be so.”

²⁴ Until now you have asked nothing in my name. ^(A)Ask, and you will receive, ^(B)that your joy may be full.

²² And Jesus answered them, “Have ^(A)faith in God. ^23 (B)Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ^(C)‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not ^(D)doubt in his heart, but ^(E)believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. ²⁴ Therefore I tell you, ^(F)whatever you ask in prayer, ^(G)believe that you ^(H)have received^[a] it, and it will be yours.

¹² And Elisha saw it and he cried, “My father, my father! ^(A)The chariots of Israel and its horsemen!” And he saw him no more.

Then he took hold of his own clothes ^(B)and tore them in two pieces.

⁹ And when he had said these things, as they were looking on, ^(A)he was lifted up, and ^(B)a cloud took him out of their sight. ¹⁰ And while they were gazing into heaven as he went, behold, ^(C)two ^(D)men stood by them in ^(E)white robes,
