³¹ Do not listen to Hezekiah, for thus says the king of Assyria: ‘Make your peace with me^[a] and come out to me. Then ^(A)each one of you will eat of his own vine, and each one of his own fig tree, and each one of you will drink the water of his own cistern,

²⁵ And Judah and Israel ^(A)lived in safety, ^(B)from Dan even to Beersheba, ^(C)every man under his vine and under his fig tree, all the days of Solomon.

¹⁰ In that day, declares the Lord of hosts, every one of you will invite his neighbor to come ^(A)under his vine and under his fig tree.”

²⁰ Judah and Israel were as many ^(A)as the sand by the sea. They ate and drank and were happy.

¹¹ Please accept my ^(A)blessing that is brought to you, because God has dealt graciously with me, and because I have enough.” Thus he ^(B)urged him, and he took it.

²⁰ and you shall say, ‘Moreover, your servant Jacob is behind us.’” For he thought, “I may appease him^[a] with the present that goes ahead of me, and afterward I shall see his face. Perhaps he will accept me.”^[b]
