³⁷ You must always be careful^(A) to keep the decrees^(B) and regulations, the laws and commands he wrote for you. Do not worship other gods.

³² See that you do all I command you; do not add^(A) to it or take away from it.^[a]

³¹ But you stay here^(A) with me so that I may give you all the commands, decrees and laws you are to teach them to follow in the land I am giving them to possess.”

³² So be careful to do what the Lord your God has commanded you;^(B) do not turn aside to the right or to the left.^{(C) 33} Walk in obedience to all that the Lord your God has commanded you,^(D) so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days^(E) in the land that you will possess.

6 These are the commands, decrees and laws the Lord your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, ² so that you, your children and their children after them may fear^(F) the Lord your God as long as you live^(G) by keeping all his decrees and commands^(H) that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life.^(I)

⁴⁴ This is the law Moses set before the Israelites. ⁴⁵ These are the stipulations, decrees and laws Moses gave them when they came out of Egypt

³⁷ “‘Keep all my decrees^(A) and all my laws^(B) and follow them. I am the Lord.’”

⁹ So Moses wrote^(A) down this law and gave it to the Levitical priests, who carried^(B) the ark of the covenant of the Lord, and to all the elders of Israel.
