²¹ For ^[a]Jozachar the son of Shimeath and Jehozabad the son of ^[b]Shomer, his servants, struck him. So he died, and they buried him with his fathers in the City of David. Then ^(A)Amaziah his son reigned in his place.

²⁶ These are the ones who conspired against him: ^[a]Zabad the son of Shimeath the Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of ^[b]Shimrith the Moabitess. ²⁷ Now concerning his sons, and ^(A)the many oracles about him, and the repairing of the house of God, indeed they are written in the ^[c]annals of the book of the kings. ^(B)Then Amaziah his son reigned in his place.
