¹² and to masons and stonecutters, and for buying timber and hewn stone, to ^(A)repair the damage of the house of the Lord, and for all that was paid out to repair the temple.

⁵ And let them ^(A)deliver it into the hand of those doing the work, who are the overseers in the house of the Lord; let them give it to those who are in the house of the Lord doing the work, to repair the damages of the house— ⁶ to carpenters and builders and masons—and to buy timber and hewn stone to repair the house.

Jesus Predicts the Destruction of the Temple^(A)

^5 (B)Then, as some spoke of the temple, how it was ^[a]adorned with beautiful stones and donations, He said,

⁷ They also gave money to the masons and the carpenters, and ^(A)food, drink, and oil to the people of Sidon and Tyre to bring cedar logs from Lebanon to the sea, to ^(B)Joppa, ^(C)according to the permission which they had from Cyrus king of Persia.

¹⁷ And the king commanded them to quarry large stones, costly stones, and ^(A)hewn stones, to lay the foundation of the ^[a]temple. ¹⁸ So Solomon’s builders, Hiram’s builders, and the Gebalites quarried them; and they prepared timber and stones to build the ^[b]temple.
