¹⁰ And whenever they saw that there was much money in the chest, the king's secretary and the high priest came up and they bagged and counted ^(A)the money that was found in the house of the Lord.

¹⁷ and ^(A)Zadok the son of Ahitub and Ahimelech the son of Abiathar were priests, and ^(B)Seraiah was secretary,

¹² And the king commanded Hilkiah the priest, and ^(A)Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and ^(B)Achbor the son of ^(C)Micaiah, and Shaphan the secretary, and Asaiah the king's servant, saying,

² And he sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the secretary, and the senior priests, ^(A)covered with sackcloth, to the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz.

Josiah Repairs the Temple

³ In the eighteenth year of King Josiah, the king sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, son of Meshullam, the secretary, to the house of the Lord, saying, ⁴ “Go up to ^(A)Hilkiah the high priest, that he may count the money ^(B)that has been brought into the house of the Lord, which ^(C)the keepers of the threshold have collected from the people.

²³ And Naaman said, ^(A)“Be pleased to accept two talents.” And he urged him and tied up two talents of silver in two bags, with two changes of clothing, and laid them on two of his servants. And they carried them before Gehazi.

²⁵ and Sheva was secretary; and ^(A)Zadok and Abiathar were priests;
