⁸ Then a messenger came and told him, saying, “They have brought the heads of the king’s sons.”

And he said, “Lay them in two heaps at the entrance of the gate until morning.”

²⁸ brought his head on a platter, and gave it to the girl; and the girl gave it to her mother.

¹⁴ Then they sent to Jezebel, saying, “Naboth has been stoned and is dead.”

Was it not a woman who cast a piece of a millstone on him from the wall, so that he died in Thebez? Why did you go near the wall?’—then you shall say, ‘Your servant Uriah the Hittite is dead also.’ ”
