²¹ And Jehu sent throughout all Israel, and all the worshipers of Baal came, so that there was not a man left who did not come. And they entered ^(A)the house of Baal, and the house of Baal was filled from one end to the other.

³² He erected an altar for Baal in ^(A)the house of Baal, which he built in Samaria.

¹⁶ And ^(A)they assembled them at the place that in Hebrew is called ^(B)Armageddon.

^2 (A)I will gather all the nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. And ^(B)I will enter into judgment with them there, on behalf of my people and my heritage Israel, because they have scattered them among the nations and have divided up my land,

¹⁸ Then all the people of the land went to ^(A)the house of Baal and tore it down; ^(B)his altars and his images they broke in pieces, and they killed Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars. And the priest posted watchmen over the house of the Lord.

²⁷ Now the house was full of men and women. All the lords of the Philistines were there, and ^(A)on the roof there were about 3,000 men and women, who looked on while Samson entertained.
