^12 (A)Though I have much to write to you, I would rather not use paper and ink. ^(B)Instead I hope to come to you and talk face to face, ^(C)so that our joy may be complete.

¹² “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.

¹¹ These things I have spoken to you, ^(A)that my joy may be in you, and that ^(B)your joy may be full.

⁸ With him I speak ^(A)mouth to mouth, clearly, and not in ^(B)riddles, and he beholds ^(C)the form of the Lord. Why then were you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?”
