¹⁰ If anyone comes to you and ^(A)does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him;

^10 (A)Reject a divisive man after the first and second ^[a]admonition,

Avoid Divisive Persons

¹⁷ Now I urge you, brethren, note those ^(A)who cause divisions and offenses, contrary to the doctrine which you learned, and ^(B)avoid them. ¹⁸ For those who are such do not serve our Lord ^[a]Jesus Christ, but ^(C)their own belly, and ^(D)by smooth words and flattering speech deceive the hearts of the simple.

^5 (A)having a form of godliness but ^(B)denying its power. And ^(C)from such people turn away! ⁶ For ^(D)of this sort are those who creep into households and make captives of gullible women loaded down with sins, led away by various lusts,

Warning Against Idleness

⁶ But we command you, brethren, in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^(A)that you withdraw ^(B)from every brother who walks ^(C)disorderly and not according to the tradition which ^[a]he received from us.

¹⁴ And if anyone does not obey our word in this ^[a]epistle, note that person and ^(A)do not keep company with him, that he may be ashamed.

¹¹ But now I have written to you not to keep company ^(A)with anyone named a brother, who is sexually immoral, or covetous, or an idolater, or a reviler, or a drunkard, or an extortioner—^(B)not even to eat with such a person.

⁸ But even if ^(A)we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be ^[a]accursed. ⁹ As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you ^(B)than what you have received, let him be accursed.

¹¹ for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.
