14 Sinunod niya ang kaayusang itinakda ni David tungkol sa paglilingkod ng mga pari. Gayundin sa mga Levita sa kanilang pang-araw-araw na pamumuno sa pag-awit ng papuri at pagtulong sa mga pari at sa pagbabantay sa Templo. Ginawa niya ito ayon sa utos ni David na lingkod ng Diyos. 15 Hindi sila lumabag kaunti man, maging sa gawain ng mga pari at mga Levita, at maging sa pag-iingat sa kayamanan ng Templo.
16 At natapos ang mga ipinagawa ni Solomon, mula sa paglalagay ng pundasyon ng Templo hanggang sa mayari ito.

14 In keeping with the ordinance of his father David, he appointed the divisions(A) of the priests for their duties, and the Levites(B) to lead the praise and to assist the priests according to each day’s requirement. He also appointed the gatekeepers(C) by divisions for the various gates, because this was what David the man of God(D) had ordered.(E) 15 They did not deviate from the king’s commands to the priests or to the Levites in any matter, including that of the treasuries.
16 All Solomon’s work was carried out, from the day the foundation of the temple of the Lord was laid until its completion. So the temple of the Lord was finished.
