7 Ora Davide, mio padre, aveva in cuore di costruire un tempio al nome dell'Eterno il DIO d'Israele,
8 ma l'Eterno disse a Davide mio padre: "Tu avevi in cuore di costruire un tempio al mio nome, e hai fatto bene ad avere questo in cuore;
9 ma non sarai tu che costruirai il tempio, sarà invece il figlio che uscirà dai tuoi lombi, sarà lui che costruirà il tempio al mio nome".
