Las obras del Templo (1 Re 7,15-22)
3 Salomón comenzó a edificar el Templo del Señor en Jerusalén, en el monte Moria donde el Señor se había aparecido a su padre David, en el lugar que este había preparado en la era de Ornán, el jebuseo. 2 La construcción comenzó el segundo mes del cuarto año de su reinado.
3 Estas son las dimensiones que Salomón dio a los cimientos del Templo, en medida antigua: treinta metros de largo por diez de ancho. 4 El vestíbulo que había en la parte delantera del edificio tenía diez metros de largo, diez de ancho y diez de alto y su interior estaba recubierto de oro fino. 5 Revistió la sala grande con madera de pino, recubierta de oro fino con grabados de palmas encadenadas. 6 Adornó el Templo con piedras preciosas y con oro de Parváin. 7 Recubrió de oro el Templo, las vigas, las jambas, las paredes y las puertas y esculpió querubines sobre las paredes.
8 Luego hizo la sala del lugar santísimo, que tenía diez metros de largo, en correspondencia con la anchura del Templo, por otros tantos de ancho; y lo revistió todo empleando seiscientos talentos de oro puro. 9 Los clavos de oro pesaban cincuenta siclos. También recubrió de oro las salas superiores. 10 Mandó tallar en la sala del lugar santísimo dos esculturas de querubines que también hizo recubrir de oro. 11 Las alas de los querubines medían diez metros de longitud: un ala del primer querubín medía dos metros y medio y llegaba hasta la pared, mientras que la otra, también de dos metros y medio, llegaba hasta el ala del otro querubín. 12 De igual manera, un ala del segundo querubín, de dos metros y medio, llegaba hasta la pared y la otra, también de dos metros y medio, llegaba hasta el ala del primer querubín. 13 Las alas extendidas de ambos querubines medían un total de diez metros. Estaban de pie, mirando a la sala. 14 Empleó para el velo púrpura violeta, escarlata y carmesí, y lino, y sobre él bordó querubines.
15 Delante de la nave puso dos columnas de diecisiete metros y medio de altas, rematadas por sendos capiteles de dos metros y medio. 16 Hizo cadenas en forma de collar y las puso sobre los capitales de las columnas, y luego puso cien granadas sobre las cadenas. 17 Luego colocó las columnas a la entrada del edificio, una a la derecha y otra a la izquierda. A la de la derecha la llamó Firmeza y a la de la izquierda la llamó Fuerza.

3 所羅門在耶路撒冷開工建造耶和華的殿，就在耶和華向他父親大衛顯現的摩利亞山上，耶布斯人阿珥楠的禾場，大衛指定的地方。 2 所羅門作王第四年二月初二[a]開工建造。 3 所羅門所建築的 神殿的根基是這樣：長六十肘，寬二十肘，都按着古時的尺寸。 4 前面的[b]走廊長二十肘，與殿的寬度一樣，高一百二十肘；裏面貼上純金。 5 大殿的牆都用松木板遮蔽，又貼上純金，上面刻着棕樹和鏈子。 6 他用寶石裝飾這殿，使殿華美；金子都是巴瓦音的金子。 7 他用金子貼殿和殿的棟梁、門檻、牆壁、門扇；牆上刻着基路伯。
8 他建造至聖所，長二十肘，與殿的寬度一樣，寬二十肘，都貼上純金，共用了六百他連得金子。 9 金的釘子重五十舍客勒。樓房都貼上金子。
10 他又在至聖所用雕刻的手藝造兩個基路伯，包上金子。 11 兩個基路伯的翅膀共長二十肘。這基路伯的一個翅膀長五肘，挨着殿這邊的牆；另一個翅膀也長五肘，與那基路伯翅膀相接。 12 那基路伯的一個翅膀長五肘，挨着殿那邊的牆；另一個翅膀也長五肘，與這基路伯的翅膀相接。 13 這兩個基路伯張開翅膀，共長二十肘，用腳站立，臉面向殿。 14 他又用藍色、紫色、朱紅色線和細麻織幔子，在其上繡基路伯。

15 他在殿前造了兩根柱子，高三十五肘；柱子上面的柱頂高五肘。 16 他造鏈子在內殿裏，安在柱頂上，又做一百個石榴，安在鏈子上。 17 他把兩根柱子立在殿前，一根在右邊，一根在左邊；右邊的起名叫雅斤，左邊的起名叫波阿斯。

3 Then Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at Jerusalem in mount Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David had prepared in the threshingfloor of Ornan the Jebusite.
2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth year of his reign.
3 Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
4 And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
5 And the greater house he cieled with fir tree, which he overlaid with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold was gold of Parvaim.
7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof, and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits: and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid the upper chambers with gold.
10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and overlaid them with gold.
11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of the other cherub.
13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits: and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen, and wrought cherubims thereon.
15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits high, and the chapiter that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
16 And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand, and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin, and the name of that on the left Boaz.
