13 ESTA tercera vez voy á vosotros. En la boca de dos ó de tres testigos consistirá todo negocio.
2 He dicho antes, y ahora digo otra vez como presente, y ahora ausente lo escribo á los que antes pecaron, y á todos los demás, que si voy otra vez, no perdonaré;
3 Pues buscáis una prueba de Cristo que habla en mí, el cual no es flaco para con vosotros, antes es poderoso en vosotros.
4 Porque aunque fué crucificado por flaqueza, empero vive por potencia de Dios. Pues también nosotros somos flacos con él, mas viviremos con él por la potencia de Dios para con vosotros.
5 Examinaos á vosotros mismos si estáis en fe; probaos á vosotros mismos. ¿No os conocéis á vosotros mismos, que Jesucristo está en vosotros? si ya no sois reprobados.
6 Mas espero que conoceréis que nosotros no somos reprobados.
7 Y oramos á Dios que ninguna cosa mala hagáis; no para que nosotros seamos hallados aprobados, mas para que vosotros hagáis lo que es bueno, aunque nosotros seamos como reprobados.
8 Porque ninguna cosas podemos contra la verdad, sino por la verdad.
9 Por lo cual nos gozamos que seamos nosotros flacos, y que vosotros estéis fuertes; y aun deseamos vuestra perfección.
10 Por tanto os escribo esto ausente, por no tratar presente con dureza, conforme á la potestad que el Señor me ha dado para edificación, y no para destrucción.
11 Resta, hermanos, que tengáis gozo, seáis perfectos, tengáis consolación, sintáis una misma cosa, tengáis paz; y el Dios de paz y de caridad será con vosotros.
12 Saludaos los unos á los otros con ósculo santo.
13 Todos los santos os saludan.
14 La gracia del Señor Jesucristo, y el amor de Dios, y la participación del Espíritu Santo sea con vosotros todos. Amén. Epístola á los Corintios fué enviada de Filipos de Macedonia con Tito y Lucas.

Slutliga förmaningar
13 Det här är tredje gången jag kommer till er. ”Det krävs två eller tre vittnen för varje sak som ska avgöras.”[a] 2 Vid mitt andra besök varnade jag, och varnar nu igen när jag är frånvarande, både dem som har syndat och alla andra: när jag kommer till er ska jag inte skona någon.
3 Ni vill ju ha bevis för att det är Kristus som talar genom mig. Han är inte svag inför er, utan han visar sin kraft hos er. 4 Det är sant att han var svag när han korsfästes, men han lever genom Guds kraft. Också vi är svaga i honom, men ni ska leva tillsammans med honom genom Guds kraft som ni ska få uppleva.
5 Pröva er själva, om ni är i tron, testa er själva. Inser ni inte i er själva att Jesus Kristus är i er? Om inte, då består ni inte provet. 6 Men jag hoppas att ni i alla fall ska inse att vi har bestått det.
7 Vi ber till Gud att ni inte ska göra något som är ont, men inte för att det ska visa sig att vi har bestått provet, utan för att ni ska göra det som är gott. Sedan spelar det ingen roll om det ser ut som att vi inte bestod provet. 8 Vi kan ju inte sätta oss emot sanningen utan bara vara för den. 9 Vi gläder oss nämligen när vi är svaga men ni starka. Det är ju just det som är vår bön, att ni ska bli alltmer fullkomliga.
10 Det är också därför jag skriver detta till er redan nu, så att jag ska slippa vara sträng mot er när jag kommer, i kraft av den myndighet Herren har gett mig för att bygga upp och inte riva ner.
Slutönskan
11 Och så till sist, syskon: Var glada! Sträva efter det fullkomliga, rätta er efter mina förmaningar, var eniga och lev i frid med varandra. Då ska kärlekens och fridens Gud vara med er.
12 Hälsa varandra med en helig kyss.[b] Alla de heliga hälsar till er.
13 Nåd från Herren Jesus Kristus, kärlek från Gud, och den heliga Andens gemenskap åt er alla.

Final Warnings
13 This will be my third visit to you.(A) “Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”[a](B) 2 I already gave you a warning when I was with you the second time. I now repeat it while absent:(C) On my return I will not spare(D) those who sinned earlier(E) or any of the others, 3 since you are demanding proof that Christ is speaking through me.(F) He is not weak in dealing with you, but is powerful among you. 4 For to be sure, he was crucified in weakness,(G) yet he lives by God’s power.(H) Likewise, we are weak(I) in him, yet by God’s power we will live with him(J) in our dealing with you.
5 Examine yourselves(K) to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves.(L) Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you(M)—unless, of course, you fail the test? 6 And I trust that you will discover that we have not failed the test. 7 Now we pray to God that you will not do anything wrong—not so that people will see that we have stood the test but so that you will do what is right even though we may seem to have failed. 8 For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth. 9 We are glad whenever we are weak(N) but you are strong;(O) and our prayer is that you may be fully restored.(P) 10 This is why I write these things when I am absent, that when I come I may not have to be harsh(Q) in my use of authority—the authority the Lord gave me for building you up, not for tearing you down.(R)

11 Finally, brothers and sisters,(S) rejoice! Strive for full restoration, encourage one another, be of one mind, live in peace.(T) And the God of love(U) and peace(V) will be with you.
12 Greet one another with a holy kiss.(W) 13 All God’s people here send their greetings.(X)
14 May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,(Y) and the love of God,(Z) and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit(AA) be with you all.
