Pablo y los falsos apóstoles

11 Me gustaría que fueran pacientes conmigo, incluso cuando digo tonterías. ¡Sí, ténganme paciencia! 2 Me preocupo por ustedes, tal como lo hace Dios, pues yo prometí entregarlos en matrimonio a un solo esposo: Cristo. A él quiero presentarlos como una virgen pura. 3 Pero me temo que así como la serpiente engañó a Eva con su astucia, la mente de ustedes también se corrompa y se desvíen de la pureza y la devoción que tienen por Cristo. 4 Ustedes toleran sin quejarse a los que les dan un mensaje sobre Jesús distinto al que les hemos anunciado. Están dispuestos a aceptar un espíritu diferente al Espíritu que ya recibieron, y también están dispuestos a recibir una buena noticia de salvación distinta a la que nosotros les enseñamos. 5 Yo creo que en nada soy inferior a esos «superapóstoles» que han venido a ustedes. 6 Quizás no tenga gran habilidad para hablar, pero no me falta conocimiento y eso se lo hemos demostrado claramente en todas las formas posibles.

7 Les anuncié las buenas noticias de Dios sin cobrarles nada. Me humillé para que ustedes fueran engrandecidos. ¿Piensan que hice mal? 8 Les quité dinero a otras iglesias cuando acepté que me pagaran para poder servirles a ustedes. 9 Mientras estuve con ustedes y tuve necesidades, no fui una carga para ustedes porque los hermanos que vinieron de Macedonia me ayudaron con lo que necesitaba. 12 Seguiré evitando ser una carga para ustedes como lo he hecho hasta ahora, para que esa gente no tenga motivos para presumir ni se crea igual a nosotros. 13 Ellos son falsos apóstoles porque son trabajadores que engañan a la gente haciéndose pasar por apóstoles de Cristo. 14 Eso no nos sorprende porque Satanás también se disfraza de ángel de luz. 15 Entonces es natural que los siervos de Satanás pretendan aparecer como los siervos de justicia. Sin embargo, al final, ellos recibirán el pago por sus obras.

11 ¡Ojalá me toleraseis un poco de locura! Sí, toleradme. 2 Porque os celo con celo de Dios; pues os he desposado con un solo esposo, para presentaros como una virgen pura a Cristo. 3 Pero temo que como la serpiente con su astucia engañó a Eva,(A) vuestros sentidos sean de alguna manera extraviados de la sincera fidelidad a Cristo. 4 Porque si viene alguno predicando a otro Jesús que el que os hemos predicado, o si recibís otro espíritu que el que habéis recibido, u otro evangelio que el que habéis aceptado, bien lo toleráis; 5 y pienso que en nada he sido inferior a aquellos grandes apóstoles. 6 Pues aunque sea tosco en la palabra, no lo soy en el conocimiento; en todo y por todo os lo hemos demostrado. 7 ¿Pequé yo humillándome a mí mismo, para que vosotros fueseis enaltecidos, por cuanto os he predicado el evangelio de Dios de balde? 8 He despojado a otras iglesias, recibiendo salario para serviros a vosotros. 9 Y cuando estaba entre vosotros y tuve necesidad, a ninguno fui carga, pues lo que me faltaba, lo suplieron los hermanos que vinieron de Macedonia,(B) y en todo me guardé y me guardaré de seros gravoso. 10 Por la verdad de Cristo que está en mí, que no se me impedirá esta mi gloria en las regiones de Acaya. 11 ¿Por qué? ¿Porque no os amo? 12 Mas lo que hago, lo haré aún, para quitar la ocasión a aquellos que la desean, a fin de que en aquello en que se glorían, sean hallados semejantes a nosotros. 13 Porque estos son falsos apóstoles, obreros fraudulentos, que se disfrazan como apóstoles de Cristo. 14 Y no es maravilla, porque el mismo Satanás se disfraza como ángel de luz. 15 Así que, no es extraño si también sus ministros se disfrazan como ministros de justicia; cuyo fin será conforme a sus obras.

16 Otra vez digo: Que nadie me tenga por loco; o de otra manera, recibidme como a loco, para que yo también me gloríe un poquito. 17 Lo que hablo, no lo hablo según el Señor, sino como en locura, con esta confianza de gloriarme. 18 Puesto que muchos se glorían según la carne, también yo me gloriaré; 19 porque de buena gana toleráis a los necios, siendo vosotros cuerdos. 20 Pues toleráis si alguno os esclaviza, si alguno os devora, si alguno toma lo vuestro, si alguno se enaltece, si alguno os da de bofetadas. 21 Para vergüenza mía lo digo, para eso fuimos demasiado débiles.

7 ¿Cuál fue mi pecado? Lo único que hice fue anunciarles la buena noticia de Dios sin cobrarles nada; me resté importancia, para dársela a ustedes, 8 y para servirlos y ayudarlos, recibí dinero de otras iglesias. 9 Cuando estuve entre ustedes y necesité algo, nunca les pedí que me ayudaran. Los miembros de la iglesia en la región de Macedonia llegaron y me dieron lo que necesitaba. 11 I wish that you would be patient with me in a little foolishness, but indeed you are being patient with me! 2 For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy, because I promised you in marriage to one husband,[a] to present you as a pure[b] virgin to Christ. 3 But I am afraid that[c] just as the serpent[d] deceived Eve by his treachery,[e] your minds may be led astray[f] from a sincere and pure[g] devotion to Christ. 4 For if someone comes and proclaims[h] another Jesus different from the one we proclaimed,[i] or if you receive a different spirit than the one you received,[j] or a different gospel than the one you accepted,[k] you put up with it well enough![l] 5 For I consider myself not at all inferior to those “super-apostles.”[m] 6 And even if I am unskilled[n] in speaking, yet I am certainly not so in knowledge. 16 I say again, let no one think that I am a fool.[ad] But if you do, then at least accept me as a fool, so that I too may boast a little. 17 What I am saying with this boastful confidence[ae] I do not say the way the Lord would.[af] Instead it is, as it were, foolishness. 18 Since many[ag] are boasting according to human standards,[ah] I too will boast. 19 For since you are so wise, you put up with[ai] fools gladly. 20 For you put up with[aj] it if someone makes slaves of you, if someone exploits you, if someone takes advantage of you, if someone behaves arrogantly[ak] toward you, if someone strikes you in the face. 21 (To my disgrace[al] I must say that we were too weak for that!)[am] But whatever anyone else dares to boast about[an] (I am speaking foolishly), I also dare to boast about the same thing.[ao] 22 Are they Hebrews?
