2 Corinthians 6:16-7:1

New International Version

¹⁶What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?^(A) For we are the temple^(B) of the living God.^(C) As God has said:

“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”^[a]^(D)

¹⁷Therefore,

“Come out from them^(E)
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”^[b]^(F)

¹⁸And,

“I will be a Father to you,
and you will be my sons and daughters,^(G)
says the Lord Almighty.”^[c]^(H)

7 Therefore, since we have these promises,^(I) dear friends,^(J) let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness^(K) out of reverence for God.

Ephesians 2:19-22

¹⁹Consequently, you are no longer foreigners and strangers,^(A) but fellow citizens^(B) with God’s people and also members of his household,^(C) ²⁰built^(D) on the foundation^(E) of the apostles and prophets,^(F) with Christ Jesus himself^(G) as the chief cornerstone.^(H) ²¹In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple^(I) in the Lord. ²²And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit.^(J)
