¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For ^(A)you^[a] are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

³ And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, ^(A)the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God.

^45 (A)I will dwell among the children of Israel and will ^(B)be their God.

³⁸ They shall be ^(A)My people, and I will be their God;

¹⁰ For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the ^(A)Lord: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and ^(B)I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

²⁶ Moreover I will ^[a]make ^(A)a covenant of peace with them, and it shall be an everlasting covenant with them; I will establish them and ^(B)multiply them, and I will set My ^(C)sanctuary in their midst forevermore. ^27 (D)My tabernacle also shall be with them; indeed I will be ^(E)their God, and they shall be My people.

^20 (A)that they may walk in My statutes and keep My judgments and do them; ^(B)and they shall be My people, and I will be their God.

^33 (A)But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: ^(B)I will put My law in their minds, and write it on their ^[a]hearts; ^(C)and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.
