2 Corinthians 6:15-17

New International Version

¹⁵What harmony is there between Christ and Belial^[a]?^(A) Or what does a believer^(B) have in common with an unbeliever?^(C) ¹⁶What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?^(D) For we are the temple^(E) of the living God.^(F) As God has said:

“I will live with them
and walk among them,
and I will be their God,
and they will be my people.”^[b]^(G)

¹⁷Therefore,

“Come out from them^(H)
and be separate,
says the Lord.
Touch no unclean thing,
and I will receive you.”^[c]^(I)

¹⁵^(A)What accord has Christ with Belial?^[a] Or what portion does a believer share with an unbeliever? ¹⁶What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For ^(B)we are the temple of the living God; as God said,

^(C)“I will make my dwelling among them and ^(D)walk among them,
    and ^(E)I will be their God,
    and they shall be my people.
¹⁷Therefore ^(F)go out from their midst,
    and be separate from them, says the Lord,
and touch no unclean thing;
    then I will welcome you,
