^14 (A)Do not be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. For ^(B)what ^[a]fellowship has righteousness with lawlessness? And what ^[b]communion has light with darkness? ¹⁵ And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever? ¹⁶ And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? For ^(C)you^[c] are the temple of the living God. As God has said:

⁵ For ^[a]this you know, that no fornicator, unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, has any ^(A)inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. ⁶ Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience. ⁷ Therefore do not be ^(B)partakers with them.

Walk in Light

⁸ For you were once darkness, but now you are ^(C)light in the Lord. Walk as children of light ⁹ (for ^(D)the fruit of the ^[b]Spirit is in all goodness, righteousness, and truth), ^10 (E)finding out what is acceptable to the Lord. ¹¹ And have ^(F)no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather ^[c]expose them.
