2 Corinthians 5:7

New Living Translation

⁷For we live by believing and not by seeing.

11 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

11 Faith shows the reality of what we hope for; it is the evidence of things we cannot see.

²⁰To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them.

²⁰Look to God’s instructions and teachings! People who contradict his word are completely in the dark.
