²¹ He made Him who ^(A)knew no sin to be ^[a](B)sin in our behalf, so that we might become the ^(C)righteousness of God in Him.

¹⁵ For we do not have ^(A)a high priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but One who has been ^(B)tempted in all things just as we are, yet ^(C)without sin.

²² He who ^(A)committed no sin, nor was any deceit found in His mouth; ^23 [a]and while being ^(B)abusively insulted, He did not insult in return; while suffering, He did not threaten, but kept entrusting Himself to Him who judges righteously; ²⁴ and He Himself ^[b](C)brought our sins in His body up on the ^[c](D)cross, so that we ^(E)might die to ^[d]sin and live for righteousness; ^(F)by His ^[e]wounds you were ^(G)healed. ²⁵ For you were ^(H)continually straying like sheep, but now you have returned to the ^(I)Shepherd and ^[f]Guardian of your souls.
