¹³ For if we ^(A)are beside ourselves, it is for God; if we are in our right mind, it is for you. ¹⁴ For the love of Christ ^(B)controls us, because we have concluded this: that ^(C)one has died for all, therefore all have died; ¹⁵ and he died for all, ^(D)that those who live might no longer live for themselves but ^(E)for him who for their sake died and was raised.

¹⁶ From now on, therefore, ^(F)we regard no one according to the flesh. Even though we once regarded Christ according to the flesh, we regard him thus no longer. ¹⁷ Therefore, if anyone is ^(G)in Christ, he is ^(H)a new creation.^{[a] (I)}The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.

¹² But the law is not of faith, rather ^(A)“The one who does them shall live by them.” ¹³ Christ ^(B)redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, ^(C)“Cursed is everyone who is hanged ^(D)on a tree”—

¹⁰ The thief comes only to steal and ^(A)kill and destroy. I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.
