Treasure in Jars of Clay

⁷ But we have this treasure in ^(A)jars of clay, ^(B)to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us.

^5 (A)Not that we are sufficient in ourselves to claim anything as coming from us, but ^(B)our sufficiency is from God, ⁶ who has made us sufficient to be ^(C)ministers of ^(D)a new covenant, not of ^(E)the letter but of the Spirit. For the letter kills, but ^(F)the Spirit gives life.

Our Heavenly Dwelling

5 For we know that if ^(A)the tent that is ^(B)our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, ^(C)a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

⁸ For ^(A)by grace you have been saved ^(B)through faith. And this is ^(C)not your own doing; ^(D)it is the gift of God, ^9 (E)not a result of works, ^(F)so that no one may boast.

²⁸ God chose what is low and despised in the world, even ^(A)things that are not, to ^(B)bring to nothing things that are,

^3 (A)in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

³ And ^(A)I was with you ^(B)in weakness and in fear and much trembling, ⁴ and my speech and my message were not in plausible words of wisdom, but in demonstration of ^(C)the Spirit and of power, ⁵ so that your faith might not rest in the wisdom of men^[a] but ^(D)in the power of God.

¹⁹ and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, ^(A)according to the working of ^(B)his great might ²⁰ that he worked in Christ ^(C)when he raised him from the dead and ^(D)seated him at his right hand ^(E)in the heavenly places,
