2 Corinthians 10:7-9
Holman Christian Standard Bible
7 Look at what is obvious.[a] If anyone is confident that he belongs to Christ,(A) he should remind himself of this: Just as he belongs to Christ, so do we. 8 For if I boast some more about our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up(B) and not for tearing you down, I am not ashamed. 9 I don’t want to seem as though I am trying to terrify you with my letters.

2 Corinthians 10:7-9
1599 Geneva Bible
7 [a]Look ye on things after the [b]appearance? If any man trust in himself that he is Christ’s, let him consider this again of [c]himself, that as he is Christ’s, even so are we Christ’s.
8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord hath given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should have no shame.
9 This I say, that I may not seem as it were to fear you with letters.
