¹¹ while you are enriched in everything for all liberality, ^(A)which causes thanksgiving through us to God.

Instructions to the Rich

¹⁷ Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor to trust in uncertain ^(A)riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things ^(B)to enjoy. ¹⁸ Let them do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,

¹⁵ For ^(A)all things are for your sakes, that ^(B)grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

¹² For the administration of this service not only ^(A)supplies the needs of the saints, but also is abounding through many thanksgivings to God,

¹¹ you also ^(A)helping together in prayer for us, that thanks may be given by many persons on ^[a]our behalf ^(B)for the gift granted to us through many.

¹⁹ and not only that, but who was also ^(A)chosen by the churches to travel with us with this gift, which is administered by us ^(B)to the glory of the Lord Himself and to show your ready mind,

² that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and ^(A)their deep poverty abounded in the riches of their liberality. ³ For I bear witness that according to their ability, yes, and beyond their ability, they were freely willing,

⁵ that you were enriched in everything by Him ^(A)in all ^[a]utterance and all knowledge,
