¹⁵ And what accord has Christ with Belial? Or what part has a believer with an unbeliever?

²⁰ Rather, that the things which the Gentiles ^(A)sacrifice ^(B)they sacrifice to demons and not to God, and I do not want you to have fellowship with demons. ^21 (C)You cannot drink the cup of the Lord and ^(D)the cup of demons; you cannot partake of the ^(E)Lord’s table and of the table of demons.

²¹ And Elijah came to all the people, and said, ^(A)“How long will you falter between two opinions? If the Lord is God, follow Him; but if Baal, ^(B)follow him.” But the people answered him not a word.

¹¹ And this is the testimony: that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. ^12 (A)He who has the Son has ^[a]life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have life. ¹³ These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, ^[b]and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God.

⁸ But if anyone does not provide for his own, ^(A)and especially for those of his household, ^(B)he has denied the faith ^(C)and is worse than an unbeliever.

² When the Philistines took the ark of God, they brought it into the house of ^(A)Dagon^[a] and set it by Dagon. ³ And when the people of Ashdod arose early in the morning, there was Dagon, ^(B)fallen on its face to the earth before the ark of the Lord. So they took Dagon and ^(C)set it in its place again. ⁴ And when they arose early the next morning, there was Dagon, fallen on its face to the ground before the ark of the Lord. ^(D)The head of Dagon and both the palms of its hands were broken off on the threshold; only ^[b]Dagon’s torso was left of it.

²⁰ But Peter said to him, “Your money perish with you, because ^(A)you thought that ^(B)the gift of God could be purchased with money!

¹⁴ And believers were increasingly added to the Lord, multitudes of both men and women,

^16 (A)He who believes and is baptized will be saved; ^(B)but he who does not believe will be condemned.
