5 For we know that, if the earthly tent we live in is destroyed, we have a building from God, a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.^(A)

² Beloved, we are God’s children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he^[a] is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is.^(A)

¹³ I think it right, as long as I am in this body,^[a] to refresh your memory,^{(A) 14} since I know that my death^[b] will come soon, as indeed our Lord Jesus Christ has made clear to me.^(B)

⁷ But we have this treasure in clay jars, so that it may be made clear that this extraordinary power belongs to God and does not come from us.^(A)

²⁴ For Christ did not enter a sanctuary made by human hands, a mere copy of the true one, but he entered into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf.^(A)

⁴⁶ But it is not the spiritual that is first but the physical and then the spiritual. ⁴⁷ The first man was from the earth, made of dust; the second man is^[a] from heaven.^{(A) 48} As one of dust, so are those who are of the dust, and as one of heaven, so are those who are of heaven.

² In my Father’s house there are many dwelling places. If it were not so, would I have told you that I go to prepare a place for you?^{[a] 3} And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.^(A)

¹¹ But when Christ came as a high priest of the good things that have come,^[a] then through the greater and more perfect tent^[b] (not made with hands, that is, not of this creation),^(A)
