¹⁴ knowing that ^(A)he who raised the Lord Jesus ^(B)will raise us also with Jesus and ^(C)bring us with you into his presence.

¹⁴ For ^(A)since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him ^(B)those who have fallen asleep.

¹¹ If the Spirit of ^(A)him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised Christ Jesus^[a] from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies ^(B)through his Spirit who dwells in you.

Doxology

^24 (A)Now to him who is able ^(B)to keep you from stumbling and ^(C)to present you ^(D)blameless before the presence of his glory with great joy,

²⁷ so ^(A)that he might present the church to himself in splendor, ^(B)without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.^[a]

Our Heavenly Dwelling

5 For we know that if ^(A)the tent that is ^(B)our earthly home is destroyed, we have a building from God, ^(C)a house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. ² For in this tent ^(D)we groan, longing to ^(E)put on our heavenly dwelling, ³ if indeed by putting it on^[a] we may not be found naked. ⁴ For while we are still in this tent, we groan, being burdened—not that we would be unclothed, but that we would be further clothed, so that what is mortal ^(F)may be swallowed up by life.

¹⁴ And ^(A)God raised the Lord and ^(B)will also raise us up ^(C)by his power.

²⁵ Jesus said to her, ^(A)“I am the resurrection and ^(B)the life.^[a] Whoever believes in me, ^(C)though he die, ^(D)yet shall he live, ²⁶ and everyone who lives and believes in me ^(E)shall never die. Do you believe this?”

² For I feel a divine jealousy for you, since ^(A)I betrothed you to one husband, ^(B)to present you ^(C)as a pure virgin to Christ.
