⁶ This punishment which was inflicted ^(A)by the majority is sufficient for such a man,

⁴ In the ^(A)name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when you are gathered together, along with my spirit, ^(B)with the power of our Lord Jesus Christ, ^5 (C)deliver such a one to ^(D)Satan for the destruction of the flesh, that his spirit may be saved in the day of the Lord ^[a]Jesus.

²⁰ Those who are sinning rebuke in the presence of all, that the rest also may fear.

¹¹ For observe this very thing, that you sorrowed in a godly manner: What diligence it produced in you, what ^(A)clearing of yourselves, what indignation, what fear, what vehement desire, what zeal, what vindication! In all things you proved yourselves to be ^(B)clear in this matter.

^10 (A)Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the ^(B)authority which the Lord has given me for edification and not for destruction.
