¹⁵ We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that ^(A)as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be ^(B)greatly enlarged,

²⁰ and thus I make it my ambition to preach the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, ^(A)lest I build on someone else's foundation,

Thanksgiving

^3 (A)We ought always to give thanks to God for you, brothers,^[a] as is right, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of every one of you for one another is increasing.

¹³ But we will not boast ^(A)beyond limits, but will ^(B)boast only with regard to the area of influence God assigned to us, ^(C)to reach even to you.

¹³ None of the rest dared join them, but ^(A)the people held them in high esteem.
