¹³ We, however, will not boast beyond limits but will keep within the field that God has assigned to us, to reach out even as far as you.

¹⁴ For we were not overstepping our limits when we reached you; we were the first to come all the way to you with the good news^[a] of Christ.^{(A) 15} We do not boast beyond limits, that is, in the labors of others, but our hope is that, as your faith increases, our field among you may be greatly enlarged,

²⁰ Thus I make it my ambition to proclaim the gospel, not where Christ has already been named, so that I do not build on someone else’s foundation,^(A)

⁶ We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith;^(A)

¹⁰ Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.^(A)

⁷ But each of us was given grace according to the measure of Christ’s gift.^(A)

¹¹ All these are activated by one and the same Spirit, who allots to each one individually just as the Spirit chooses.^(A)

³ For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned.^(A)

¹⁸ But I ask, have they not heard? Indeed they have:
