^13 (A)We, however, will not boast beyond measure, but within the limits of the sphere which God appointed us—a sphere which especially includes you.

¹⁴ For we are not overextending ourselves (as though our authority did not extend to you), ^(A)for it was to you that we came with the gospel of Christ; ¹⁵ not boasting of things beyond measure, that is, ^(B)in other men’s labors, but having hope, that as your faith is increased, we shall be greatly enlarged by you in our sphere,

²⁰ And so I have made it my aim to preach the gospel, not where Christ was named, ^(A)lest I should build on another man’s foundation,

⁶ Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is ^(A)given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, let us ^(B)prophesy in proportion to our faith;

^10 (A)As each one has received a gift, minister it to one another, ^(B)as good stewards of ^(C)the manifold grace of God.

Spiritual Gifts

⁷ But ^(A)to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

¹¹ But one and the same Spirit works all these things, ^(A)distributing to each one individually ^(B)as He wills.

Serve God with Spiritual Gifts

³ For I say, ^(A)through the grace given to me, to everyone who is among you, ^(B)not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think, but to think soberly, as God has dealt ^(C)to each one a measure of faith.

¹⁸ But I say, have they not heard? Yes indeed:

¹⁵ And to one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one, ^(A)to each according to his own ability; and immediately he went on a journey.
