¹⁶ I wanted to visit you on my way to Macedonia and to come back to you from Macedonia and have you send me on to Judea.^(A)

Plans for Travel

⁵ I will visit you after passing through Macedonia—for I intend to pass through Macedonia^(A)— ⁶ and perhaps I will stay with you or even spend the winter, so that you may send me on my way, wherever I go. ⁷ I do not want to see you now just in passing, for I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits.

⁵ When our days there were ended, we left and proceeded on our journey, and all of them, with wives and children, escorted us outside the city. There we knelt down on the beach and prayed^(A)

The Riot in Ephesus

²¹ Now after these things had been accomplished, Paul resolved in the Spirit to go through Macedonia and Achaia and then to go on to Jerusalem.
