¹¹ as you help us by your prayers.^(A) Then many will give thanks^(B) on our behalf for the gracious favor granted us in answer to the prayers of many.

¹⁹ for I know that through your prayers^(A) and God’s provision of the Spirit of Jesus Christ^(B) what has happened to me will turn out for my deliverance.^[a](C)

¹⁵ All this is for your benefit, so that the grace that is reaching more and more people may cause thanksgiving^(A) to overflow to the glory of God.

⁵ So Peter was kept in prison, but the church was earnestly praying to God for him.^(A)

¹⁸ Pray for us.^(A) We are sure that we have a clear conscience^(B) and desire to live honorably in every way.

²² And one thing more: Prepare a guest room for me, because I hope to be^(A) restored to you in answer to your prayers.^(B)

3 As for other matters, brothers and sisters,^(A) pray for us^(B) that the message of the Lord^(C) may spread rapidly and be honored, just as it was with you.^(D)

³ And pray for us, too, that God may open a door^(A) for our message, so that we may proclaim the mystery^(B) of Christ, for which I am in chains.^(C)

³⁰ I urge you, brothers and sisters, by our Lord Jesus Christ and by the love of the Spirit,^(A) to join me in my struggle by praying to God for me.^{(B) 31} Pray that I may be kept safe^(C) from the unbelievers in Judea and that the contribution^(D) I take to Jerusalem may be favorably received by the Lord’s people^(E) there, ³² so that I may come to you^(F) with joy, by God’s will,^(G) and in your company be refreshed.^(H)
