3 Salomon commença à bâtir la maison de l'Éternel à Jérusalem, sur la montagne de Morija, qui avait été indiquée à David, son père, dans le lieu préparé par David sur l'aire d'Ornan, le Jébusien.
2 Il commença à bâtir le second jour du second mois de la quatrième année de son règne.
3 Voici sur quels fondements Salomon bâtit la maison de Dieu. La longueur en coudées de l'ancienne mesure était de soixante coudées, et la largeur de vingt coudées.
4 Le portique sur le devant avait vingt coudées de longueur, répondant à la largeur de la maison, et cent vingt de hauteur; Salomon le couvrit intérieurement d'or pur.
5 Il revêtit de bois de cyprès la grande maison, la couvrit d'or pur, et y fit sculpter des palmes et des chaînettes.
6 Il couvrit la maison de pierres précieuses comme ornement; et l'or était de l'or de Parvaïm.
7 Il couvrit d'or la maison, les poutres, les seuils, les parois et les battants des portes, et il fit sculpter des chérubins sur les parois.
8 Il fit la maison du lieu très saint; elle avait vingt coudées de longueur répondant à la largeur de la maison, et vingt coudées de largeur. Il la couvrit d'or pur, pour une valeur de six cents talents;
9 et le poids de l'or pour les clous montait à cinquante sicles. Il couvrit aussi d'or les chambres hautes.
10 Il fit dans la maison du lieu très saint deux chérubins sculptés, et on les couvrit d'or.
11 Les ailes des chérubins avaient vingt coudées de longueur. L'aile du premier, longue de cinq coudées, touchait au mur de la maison; et l'autre aile, longue de cinq coudées, touchait à l'aile du second chérubin.
12 L'aile du second chérubin, longue de cinq coudées, touchait au mur de la maison; et l'autre aile, longue de cinq coudées, joignait l'aile du premier chérubin.
13 Les ailes de ces chérubins, déployées, avaient vingt coudées. Ils étaient debout sur leurs pieds, la face tournée vers la maison.
14 Il fit le voile bleu, pourpre et cramoisi, et de byssus, et il y représenta des chérubins.
15 Il fit devant la maison deux colonnes de trente-cinq coudées de hauteur, avec un chapiteau de cinq coudées sur leur sommet.
16 Il fit des chaînettes comme celles qui étaient dans le sanctuaire, et les plaça sur le sommet des colonnes, et il fit cent grenades qu'il mit dans les chaînettes.
17 Il dressa les colonnes sur le devant du temple, l'une à droite et l'autre à gauche; il nomma celle de droite Jakin, et celle de gauche Boaz.

Solomon Builds the Temple(A)
3 Now (B)Solomon began to build the house of the Lord at (C)Jerusalem on Mount Moriah, where [a]the Lord had appeared to his father David, at the place that David had prepared on the threshing floor of (D)Ornan[b] the Jebusite. 2 And he began to build on the second day of the second month in the fourth year of his reign.
3 This is the foundation (E)which Solomon laid for building the house of God: The length was sixty cubits (by cubits according to the former measure) and the width twenty cubits. 4 And the (F)vestibule that was in front of [c]the sanctuary was twenty cubits long across the width of the house, and the height was [d]one hundred and twenty. He overlaid the inside with pure gold. 5 (G)The larger [e]room he (H)paneled with cypress which he overlaid with fine gold, and he carved palm trees and chainwork on it. 6 And he decorated the house with precious stones for beauty, and the gold was gold from Parvaim. 7 He also overlaid the house—the beams and doorposts, its walls and doors—with gold; and he carved cherubim on the walls.
8 And he made the (I)Most Holy Place. Its length was according to the width of the house, twenty cubits, and its width twenty cubits. He overlaid it with six hundred talents of fine gold. 9 The weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold; and he overlaid the upper (J)area with gold. 10 (K)In the Most Holy Place he made two cherubim, fashioned by carving, and overlaid them with gold. 11 The wings of the cherubim were twenty cubits in overall length: one wing of the one cherub was five cubits, touching the wall of the room, and the other wing was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub; 12 one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, touching the wall of the room, and the other wing also was five cubits, touching the wing of the other cherub. 13 The wings of these cherubim spanned twenty cubits overall. They stood on their feet, and they faced inward. 14 And he made the (L)veil of blue, purple, crimson, and fine linen, and wove cherubim into it.
15 Also he made in front of the [f]temple (M)two pillars [g]thirty-five cubits [h]high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits. 16 He made wreaths of chainwork, as in the inner sanctuary, and put them on top of the pillars; and he made (N)one hundred pomegranates, and put them on the wreaths of chainwork. 17 Then he (O)set up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand and the other on the left; he called the name of the one on the right hand [i]Jachin, and the name of the one on the left [j]Boaz.

Ang Pulong Sa Dios
Gisugdan ni Solomon ang Pagpatukod sa Templo
3 Unya gisugdan na ni Solomon ang pagpatukod sa templo sa Ginoo didto sa Jerusalem, sa bukid sa Moria, diin nagpakita ang Ginoo sa iyang amahan nga si David. Didto niya kini gipatukod sa giokanan ni Arauna[a] nga Jebusihanon, ang dapit nga giandam ni David. 2 Gisugdan niya kini sa pagpatukod sa ikaduhang adlaw sa ikaduhang bulan, sa ikaupat nga tuig sa iyang paghari.
3 Ang pundasyon nga gibutang ni Solomon alang sa templo sa Dios may gitas-on nga 90 ka piye ug gilapdon nga 30 ka piye. 4 Ang balkonahe sa atubangan sa templo 30 ka piye ang gitas-on, sama sa gilapdon sa templo. Gipakulitan usab kinig mga disenyo nga palma ug kadena. 6 Gipadekorasyonan usab niya ang templo ug mahalong mga bato ug bulawan nga gikan pa sa Parvaim. 7 Gipahaklapan niyag bulawan ang mga sablayan, mga haligi sa pultahan, mga dingding, ug mga pultahan. Unya gipakulitan niyag kerubin ang mga dingding.
8 Ang Labing Balaang Dapit may gilapdon nga 30 ka piye ug may gitas-on usab nga 30 ka piye, sama sa gilapdon sa templo. Ang sulod niini gihaklapan ug 21 ka toneladang bulawan. 9 Bulawan usab ang mga lansang nga gigamit, ug ang matag usa may gibug-aton nga mga tunga sa kilo. Ang mga dingding sa mga kuwarto sa ibabaw gihaklapan usab ug bulawan.
10 Sa sulod sa Labing Balaang Dapit nagpahimo si Solomon ug duha ka kerubin ug gipahaklapan niya kinig bulawan. 11-13 Ang matag kerubin may duha ka pako, ug ang kada pako may gitas-on nga pito ug tunga ka piye. Busa ang tibuok nga gitas-on sa nagabukhad nga mga pako sa duha ka kerubin 30 piyes. Nagaabot ang tagsa nila ka pako ug ang pikas midapat sa bongbong. 14 Ang kurtina nga gitabil sa Labing Balaang Dapit hinimo gikan sa linen nga kolor ube, asul, ug pula, ug gibordahan kini ug kerubin.

15 Nagpahimo usab si Solomon ug duha ka haligi sa atubangan sa templo nga ang gihabugon sa matag usa 52 ka piye. Sa ibabaw niining mga haligi may ulo-ulo nga pito ug tunga ka piye ang gihabugon. 16 Ang matag ulo-ulo gidekorasyonan ug linala nga kadena nga gibitayan ug laing 100 ka buok nga dekorasyon nga pormag prutas nga pomegranata. 17 Gipatindog niya ang mga haligi sa atubangan sa templo. Ang haligi dapit sa habagatan ginganlan niyag Jakin, ug ang haligi sa amihan ginganlan niyag Boaz.
