2 Chronicles 5
King James Version
5 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the Lord was finished: and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures of the house of God.
2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem, to bring up the ark of the covenant of the Lord out of the city of David, which is Zion.
3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in the feast which was in the seventh month.
4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.
5 And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests and the Levites bring up.
6 Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told nor numbered for multitude.
7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the Lord unto his place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the wings of the cherubims:
8 For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark, and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
9 And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And there it is unto this day.
10 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein at Horeb, when the Lord made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt.
11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place: (for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait by course:
12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman, of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen, having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar, and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)
13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the Lord; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of musick, and praised the Lord, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the Lord;
14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud: for the glory of the Lord had filled the house of God.

5 Así que el rey Salomón terminó el trabajo que quería hacer para el templo del SEÑOR. Entonces reunió todo lo que su papá David había consagrado, la plata, el oro y todos los objetos. Llevó todo eso y lo depositó en los tesoros del templo de Dios.

2 Entonces el rey Salomón reunió en Jerusalén a todos los ancianos líderes de Israel, a los jefes de las tribus y a los líderes de las familias de Israel para trasladar el cofre del pacto del SEÑOR desde Sion, la Ciudad de David, al templo. 3 Así que todos los israelitas se reunieron ante el rey durante la fiesta del séptimo mes.

11 Cuando los sacerdotes salieron del Lugar Santo, pues todos los sacerdotes que se encontraban allí se habían purificado sin tener en cuenta su distribución de turnos, 12 los levitas cantores, todos los de Asaf, Hemán y Jedutún, sus hijos y sus parientes, estaban de pie al lado oriental del altar, vestidos de lino y con címbalos, liras y arpas. Con ellos estaban 120 sacerdotes trompetistas. 13 Tocaban las trompetas y cantaban al unísono alabando y dando gracias al SEÑOR. Hacían sonar las trompetas, los platillos y los otros instrumentos musicales mientras cantaban y alababan al SEÑOR diciendo: «Porque él es bueno y su fiel amor es para siempre». En ese momento se llenó el templo del SEÑOR con una nube. 14 Debido a la nube, los sacerdotes no pudieron seguir celebrando el culto porque el templo de Dios estaba lleno de la gloria del SEÑOR.

5 Thus all the work that Shlomo did for the house of Adonai was finished. Then Shlomo brought in the gifts which David his father had consecrated — the silver, the gold and all the utensils — and put them in the treasuries of the house of God.
2 Shlomo assembled all the leaders of Isra’el and all the heads of the tribes and the chiefs of the paternal clans of the people of Isra’el, to Yerushalayim, to bring the ark for the covenant of Adonai out of the City of David, also known as Tziyon. 3 All the people of Isra’el assembled before the king at the festival in the seventh month. 4 All the leaders of Isra’el came. The L’vi’im took the ark 5 and brought up the ark, the tent of meeting and all the holy utensils that were in the tent; these are what the cohanim and L’vi’im brought up. 6 King Shlomo and the whole community of Isra’el who had assembled in his presence were in front of the ark, sacrificing sheep and oxen in numbers beyond counting or recording. 7 The cohanim brought the ark for the covenant of Adonai in to its place inside the sanctuary of the house, to the Especially Holy Place, under the wings of the k’ruvim. 8 For the k’ruvim spread out their wings over the place for the ark, covering the ark and its poles from above. 9 The poles were so long that their ends could be seen [extending] from the ark into the sanctuary, but they could not be seen from outside; they are there to this day. 10 There was nothing in the ark except the two tablets Moshe put there at Horev, when Adonai made the covenant with the people of Isra’el at the time of their leaving Egypt.
11 When the cohanim came out of the Holy Place (for all the cohanim who were present had consecrated themselves; they didn’t keep to their divisions; 12 also the L’vi’im who were the singers, all of them — Asaf, Heman, Y’dutun and their sons and relatives — dressed in fine linen, with cymbals, lutes and lyres, stood on the east side of the altar; and with them 120 cohanim sounding trumpets), 13 then, when the trumpeters and singers were playing in concord, to be heard harmoniously praising and thanking Adonai, and they lifted their voices together with the trumpets, cymbals and other musical instruments to praise Adonai: “for he is good, for his grace continues forever” — then, the house, the house of Adonai, was filled with a cloud; 14 so that because of the cloud, the cohanim could not stand up to perform their service; for the glory of Adonai filled the house of God.
